The Other Art Fair, presented by Saatchi Art, returns to Brooklyn from July 22–25 with thousands of artworks by emerging artists from around the globe.
Throughout the month of July at The William Vale, view an exclusive preview of the Fair organized by Saatchi Art curators. Selected from among artworks by over 130 independent and emerging artists, these works were chosen for the conversations they spur, and the sense of curiosity and hope for the future they evoke. After a year marked by uncertainty, isolation, and often monotony, these artworks contemplate and play with our everyday environment, lending us viewers a fresh perspective.
From the quotidian cafe scenes painted by Brendan Kramp to the mysterious and cinematic hotel bedrooms captured by Rachel McArthur, many of these works invite us to take in the world around us in new ways. Others, such as the surrealist photographs of Loda Choo and small-scale sculptures by FalseNegative, push the aesthetics limits of the materials and objects that occupy our day-to-day lives.
See the world anew, and discover your new favorite artists and artworks at The Other Art Fair. Curated by Bethany Fincher, Assistant Curator at Saatchi Art, for The William Vale Lobby Art program.
